Avestris Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 2026-05-11 · Contact: [email protected]

These terms are written for clarity. They should still be reviewed by qualified counsel before large-scale public launch or unusually sensitive customer work.

Services

Avestris provides technical consulting, systems reconnaissance, legacy software triage, operational analysis, documentation, and related report-generation services. Fixed-scope introductory products, including the Access Orientation Report, are investigatory and informational products, not repairs, migrations, legal opinions, accounting opinions, cybersecurity certifications, or guarantees.

No Obligation to Accept Work

Avestris may decline, pause, reject, refund, or require a custom engagement for any request at its discretion, including unsafe, unlawful, abusive, incomplete, misleading, unsuitable, or out-of-scope requests.

Customer Responsibilities

Upload and Intake Limits

Public self-service intake may reject files or submissions based on size, type, token status, security controls, abuse controls, or operational discretion. For the public Access Orientation Report launch gate, public uploads are capped at 100 MB and limited to accepted Microsoft Access file types unless Avestris provides another transfer path.

The initial public self-service launch is focused on United States customers. International requests may require manual review and written acceptance before payment, upload, or analysis.

No Warranty

Services and reports are provided on an as-is and as-available basis unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avestris disclaims express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, data recovery, error-free analysis, business outcome, compatibility, security, or suitability for any particular use.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avestris is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or business-interruption damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunity, loss of goodwill, system downtime, or costs of substitute services. For fixed-scope introductory products, Avestris's total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim, unless a signed written agreement states otherwise or applicable law does not allow that limitation.

Payment and Refunds

Payment terms are stated at purchase or in a written estimate. Introductory products may be refunded, declined, or credited at Avestris's discretion if a request is unsuitable for fixed scope. Refunds, disputes, failed payments, and chargebacks may pause work or revoke upload/report tokens.

Confidentiality and Security

Avestris treats customer-submitted artifacts as confidential operational material and uses reasonable safeguards appropriate for a small technical consulting business. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. See the Privacy Policy and Data Use and Retention Policy.

Changes

Avestris may update these terms as services, infrastructure, or legal requirements change.
